Happy Valentines Day!

I like Valentines Day but obviously dont take it seriously, hence the reason me and my fella have called it off until Friday due to to the collision with footy tonight!

Yes it's a comercial rip off but it's also just a bit of fun is it not??!! I've managed to receive two texts today so far!! Don't hold out much hope for anymore though!! But oh well, tonight my fellow single friend is staying round mine, we wil be watching the Brits, drooling over Russel Brand and drinking wine!! And hopefully the gooners will win the footie!!!

Well i'm about to sneak up to the florist and get carakeel a nice rose, (I couldn't get it until now as I need to be with her her all the time to look after her) she is fast asleep in bed after a very painful night and dosed up on heavy duty painkillers!!

All in all, she is getting more mobile, and doing very well!!
neither of us can get on AB much at the moment as carakeel can only sit at the PC for a few minutes at a time and I am busy looking after her and keeping her company.

RATTER can I just say that you sound such a wonderful person as I'm sure is carakeel. You sound like a lovely couple. I hope she is soon feeling much better.

I am SO SICK of all the 'secret admirers' that inundate me with cards on Valentine's Day. This morning I was nearly left house-bound because the hundreds and hundreds of cards were blocking the door. Don't these idiots realise that they made me late for work this morning????? It's exhausting at times, it really is. Thank God it only comes around once a year.

I'll be using the cards to wipe my feet on when I get home later.
