Pretend that the "genie in the bottle" has declared that you can have an all-expenses paid holiday for a month anywhere in the world. Where would you go? I would pick Pitcairn Island: always been intrigued by its history, and its location seems so appealing.

Galapagos Islands.... in fact once there and a nice island chosen I'd ask Genie if I could stay :-)
I think I would go to Montserrat....It's the only other country that stamps your passport with a shamrock. I would go for Paddy's day because they have a three day celebration...
Ireland - a month there would give me more time to explore the West Coast.
Or Alaska, Canada or New Zealand
Country boy.....up the west

Bednobs - you beat me to it.
Can I sit with you on the plane so I've got someone to talk to?
a month in magaluf, would be very social,
but i'd have to choose india...
I would go to either Dubai or Australia! I long to stand on the Sydney harbour bridge and Dubai would be luxurious, i think.
I would travel around Canada - I love it there. Probably spend most of my time in Vancouver though and learn to ski and go grizzly bear watching. I'd hang out in all the really great bars and restaurants at night and during the hot days sit on English Bay beach with a picnic.

Going out now to buy a really old bottle in an antique shop and give it a rub!!!!!
The States like Caz, travel around as much as possible, do a road trip and take in a trip to Canada to go whale watching and skiing, a trip to see the Lakes and Niagara Falls. Would also have to fit in swimming with dolphins. A few days in Mexico would be great too.

Going back to San Francisco would be a must and Route 66 in a classic car, New York too and to meet up with a friend who lives there who I've not seen since uni days.

A helicoper ride over the Grand Canyon, a stay at a ranch to go riding with cowboys. Mardi Gras in New Orleans. A few days in Miami and Hawaii too.

I'd also visit the families I stayed with when I was there as a youngster in LA and Clovis.

Am I being a bit ambitious :)
Oooh grizzly bears can be scary Athley, stayed in a log cabin overnight in Yosemite National Park in California and some bears came ad attacked the cabins overnight and left big teeth marks and slobber on the doors!

One of the poor guys was sick he was so scared bless him.

Amazing creatures....at a distance :)
We saw one in the street while walking back to our hotel in Banff - scared the crap out of us. We were carrying a pizza and decided to leave it on the pavement as apparently they follow people for food!!!! Legged it pretty quickly I can tell you. !!!

That must of been really frightening though Jenna no wonder the poor guy was sick.

They are fabulous though saw quite a few on our stay in Canada. xx
