Other than that, i have fond memories of my french teacher who was lovely and helped me loads and of my mates all huddled round the radio at lunchtime waiting to hear that Duran Duran had got to no.1, not strictly school stuff but it is one of my strongest memories! LOL says it all really!

Fave memories - OK secondary school would have to be in the '5th form only' ladies toilets - applying some awful colour lipstick called PAris Pink by rimmell - we all wore it and that dreadful electric blue mascara! 20 girls fighting for the the mirror, how we wore our socks were also important too at the time - really makes me laugh when i think of the time we spent preening!!! Food wise, how about the warm choc sponge and peppermint custart now that was soooooo good - the spong would stick to the roof of your mouth - yummy!
I have fantastic memories of school, both junior and senior. We used to have such a great time. I really miss it. In fact, my friends and I often say that we would do anything to go back for one day. Junior school dinners were the best but me and my best friend had our older sisters who 'served' on our tables and they always gave us the smaller portions. We had many an argument about that. Senior school I remember having large sausage roll, chips and gravy with lots of vinegar. mmmmm. Ahh, the good old days eh?
I recall while in infant school, messing around in the sandpit which was basically a table with a recess and then grabbing what I thought was one of the toys buried at the bottom only to find it was the plug that held the sand in.The teacher came over, looked at me red-faced with half the sand at my feet.
In secondary school one morning there was about twenty of us playing rounders(softball) with a two-foot solid wood baseball bat and tennis ball. One kid whacked the ball, ran and dropped the bat.The next kid picked up the bat, went to hit the ball and the bat slipped from his fingers, spun behind his head, smacked one boy full in the face(he went out cold). The bat continued it's course, spun over that kid's head and knocked the next boys two front teeth out who was waiting to bat.
Oh what memories.

My favourite memories were all with my friends - there was a huge group of us and most have now moved away with Uni or don't speak anymore. One of them died of an asthma attack 3 years ago too.
Sitting in the form room at lunchtimes, playing "dare" poker instead of strip poker
Watching the blokes play football
Sausage & chips
Art lessons (my favourite)
Writing notes in French and Library classes to the boy I fancied
At the time I moaned about school but it definately was the best days of my life - certainly the most fun and I wish I had made some effort to get good grades

Best years of my life was school.. especially my secondary school. Loved Loved Loved school dinners, fav was a sort of sticky toffee pudding cake thingy, not sure how to describe it but it was the best ! Had loads of friends but unfortunately lost contact with them all as I moved away a few years after leaving school. I came back to the area few years back but no familiar faces (unless we all got so old don't recognise anyone) after all it was 20 years between moving away and back again. Still, I do have loads of happy memories of my schoolyears, wish I could go back... custard with skin on top (yummy) - semolina (yummy) - blancmange (yummy),,, weren't too keen on Tapiocca though.
