I've put on 5 stone, i feel lethargic, sluggish and totally drained all the time. I eat well although i do like a beer or 8.
I've tried diets but they don't last, i have a fairly active job (i'm a gardener) and i play football once a week.
Might start smoking again.....at least i'll die happy !!!

DITTO!
I am attempting to lose the 2 & half stone I put on since giving up smoking 2 years ago. Losing weight is never easy I am a chocoholic and I am finding dieting hard to stick to, I will add here so as not to depress you further that I haven't been dieting for 2 & half years! but have decided now I have to do something about it!! Good luck with your dieting, have you consulted your GP for help?
Well done for giving up Sallymac1.

Hi, You just need to hang on in there. When I packed it in I went from 11 stone to nearly 14 stone but you need to deal with one issue at a time. It takes a lot of willpower and determination to quit but once you have it out of your system you van tackle the weght problem. I am at my ideal weight of 11 stone and with not having smoked for years I feel a lot healthier and have money in my pocket. I hope this helps.
