not me personally but I watched the husband of a close friend go through very similar behaviour and thought patterns following his diagnosis of a malignant brain tumour. The tumour was so damaging to his brain that he lost a lot of rational cognitive function. He went from a loving husband and father, to a bully and a drunk. He would take a swipe at the kids and my friend whenever they questioned his bad behaviour and he drove all the family's friends away as no one wanted to visit. He tried to drive his car after his licene had been taken off him and when his wife took his keys away he thumped her. Fortunately for them, although his illness is terminal, he has had some radiotherapy which has shrunk the tumour thereby releasing the pressure and he is back to his 'normal' self - behaviourally and emotiionally.
