Hi, i had the inplant removed nearly 5 weeks ago as i suffured really bad side affects.Does any one no how long it will take for my body to get back to normal and start having periods again.Over the last few weeks i,v had the odd day where i'v had period pain,it comes and goes but up till now havn't had one.

Your hormone levels are meant to return to normal within 24 hours, what did your doctor say?
I'm interested as I have had mine for 6 years, due to get it changed again in May

It took 8 months for me to get my period again, which the FPC said was noraml for some. I still wont use anything else, I have got implanon back again.
