The first day is the start of your cycle.
the last day of your period and then count 28 days from there x
Just so you don't get confused by 2 different answers elle, the cycle begins on the first day of your period and lasts until you start your next. They last from anything between 21 and 40 days, the average being 28.You would normally ovulate between days 10 and 14.Hope that makes things a little clearer for you.
Definitely the first day, the next one will start (approx) 28 days from the first day
