Well some of you know that I've just started seeing someone and well Saturday morning he told me he loved me. And all I could say was don't be silly, felt a bit bad because he was just showing his feelings. I have to be sure about how I feel before I say it back, so how many of you have said it just because the other person did?

I have been out with a couple of blokes that said "i love you" after a fortnight! I reacted in much the same way as you. It freaked me out though and i promptly dumped them. It was just too fast for my liking and having come out of a marriage i didnt want that!

I knew the 1st time i set eyes on my wife that i wanted to be with her for the rest of my life, she felt the same as well, it hasen't really answered your question tho, i just thought i would mention it as it was love at first site, i never felt this way in previous relationships and did'nt believe that you could instantly love someone, 18 years later and i have the same feelings as the first day i met her
Please feel free to throw up now!!

It hasnt freaked me out because he has liked me for years but I was with someone, so its probably right he feels that way as hes finally won me over. But I just dont know, I cant say I shouldnt be with him because I do care for him a lot, I guess if he left me I would be so upset and know I love him but until I feel right Im not going to. I didnt say dont be silly in a nasty way more a why would you love me. I said we dont know each other well enough and he said well from what Ive seen I love every bit of you.
