If you were given a blank cheque and told you could buy just one luxury item, what would you choose?

I'm fortunate enough to be content with the material things I have and don't need any more, so as money can't buy health, I'd probably have a fit of generosity and buy 24 hour round-the-clock adequate policing for our local community to rid it of all the yobs who run riot with their anti social behaviour, making everybodys' lives a misery. And then I'd buy a jail on an inhospitable island somewhere where they could be incarcerated until they're so old and geratric to misbehave !

well if this blank cheque is still on offer after you lot have haggled over it, i would like to buy a gunmetal coloured stretch Hummer with a cocktail bar and jacuzzi in the back, with the change i would buy a petrol station. : )
