Wedding Dress

With all the talk of weddings. I was wondersing what colour your wedding dresses & bridesmaids (if any) were. Mine was champagne gold skirt with a green & gold lace top. Sounds vile but it worked. Dark Green Bridesmaids.

Went for traditional ivory, bridesmaids wore lilac.

i had a riding style jacket and long skirt in an off while raw silk. Under the jacket i had a gold brocade bodice. I had a raw silk riding hat too.

My bridesmaids were in a deep wine coloured silk.

i kept the hat on until the reception, i then removed the hat and the jacket. I had a little veil on the front of hat which was lifted at the service.

I got married at Gretna Green and my dress was ruby red, it was gorgeous. I didnt have any bridesmaids though.

I tried a dress that had a black bodice but it made me look all fleshy as it had no sleves or straps. How did the Black look. Whit & cream didnt suit me ..tis' why I went for another colour.

i got married with a silver/gray bodice and white chiffon skirt. Two little bridesmaids in white and one adult in cornflour blue, one in midnight blue. All very simple.

My best friend got married in ruby red and it never actually struck me as daring until now. It suited her so much and she looked very much a beautiful bride. I think the secret is not to deviate too much from your own personality.

mine wasnt daring, i dont think,;-) like FEE said about her best friend, it suited me and as soon as i tried it on, i knew it was for me and it suited Gretna if you know what i mean by that!

virgin white dress skull cap and veil, still have them. young bridesmaid in autumn colours, main bridesmaid too pregnant to participate in the ceremony except as a witness,

I get married in three months time and actually received my dress through today!! My dress is Ivory with Burgandy red detailed stitching on it across the bust anddown the train at the back. My bridesmaid has a burgandy red skirt and ivory halter top, on the top there is also burgandy detailed stitching. The best of it is the box is sitting unopened at home and i get to go home in half an hour and try it on!!! Im so excited!
