coloured contacts lenses

I know you can buy some that last for a thirty day span, but are there any that have a longer lifespan? i'd like a pair but it'd seem a waste if it ws restricted to a short period of time.

Hi,
You can get some called extended wear but i think they are for a maximum of 2 months. I was once told that it is because you can never get them 100% clean and they eventually harbour germs that can cause eye problems.
