sorry,can you be more explicit?
they don't have one any more (not in the sense you're pertaining to) - i do all the christmas shopping, present wrapping, card sending, dinner cooking, and mrs vader just puts the bloody tree up with the kids
Mother or Father Christmas? Father Christmas visits our house.
Her role is to accept expensive presents from her husband for all the cr@p he's put her through all year long.
We all muck in together whatever the time of year, but especially Christmas!

Decorating the house from top to bottom, trying to make exquisite things out of gold leaf and tissue paper, plus baking tray upon tray of tiny mouthfuls while looking fresh and perfectly groomed is frankly my idea of hell! I know this hasn't answered your question but I truly think the 'Good Housekeeping' type of mags have a lot to answer for, putting tremdous pressure on women this time of year. Sorry - I'll shut up now!!!

this feminist has already delegated the christmas duties out to the rest of the household, as to women's roles in general...well its to carry on being invisible, like the rest of the year. i am so invisible automatic doors dont open for me, honestly.
whatever they're told to by their husbands...
My wife is a feminist - bless her little jogging bottoms - and she says that spending the whole of the festive season cooking and waiting on evrybody should be shared between all parties, rather than it just being her. Well I simply reminded her that the cooker was a gift to her from me, and - anyway - I'm usually too busy drinking wine and laughing at my own jokes to lend a hand. Hope that helps deary!
Typical Christmas Day:- 8am, serve Mrs. Gef with Buck's Fizz in bed and give her lots of expensive presents (she won't complain until the bank statement arrives in January). 8.30am, get back into to bed (fingers crossed). 8.31 am, get up and make full cooked breakfast for Mrs. Gef. 10.00am - 1.00pm, cook four course Christmas lunch for Mrs. Gef. 3.00pm, fall asleep in chair so that Mrs. Gef can watch whatever she wants on TV. 10.00pm, get a row from Mrs. Gef for being drunk all day. Roll on next Christmas!
Well I have heard that on Christmas Eve Mother Christmas and all the female reindeer go into town and blow a few bucks.
Janetex, lmao!
Janetex could you explain your answer in more detail please.
archbishop, you have got better things to do, but I am hoping they come to Glasgow on Christmas Eve ;-)
