Men can be frusterating creatures at times, that is why they say they are from mars but someone once told me to treat relationships like a dance. If they take two steps forward you take one. If they take two steps back you take three.
men like to be the first to take the steps forward most of the time. When it come to the "L" word it might take a very long time for a man to say it. when he does you want to make sure it comes from his heart, not because it is what you want to hear. If he really does love you he might show you through his actions and the words will come later.
In life and love always listen to your inner voice/gut/higher power/ or what ever you call it. Your intuition is usually right

This is a people thing, not a man thing.
I'm not a man and it takes me a long time to say "I love you", and my husband will tell you I dont say it enough even after 10 years. But when I do say it, I absolutely 100% mean it. Thats why I dont feel the need to keep saying it. Nevertheless he likes to keep hearing it which has led to some interesting times!! People are just different.
So carmel, he may love you, he may not, but whether he says it or not isnt necessarily a good indicator. Look for actions, not words.

Actually Carmel, as you are on the relationships & dating board talking about how you go out every night and are into all 'da' guys but your boyfriend doesnt know, Id like to revise my advice although it isnt clear whether you are looking for declarations of love from the poor bloke you're manipulating or some geezer you picked up in a bar last night.
Im sure if you clarified this we'd all be delighted to help.
