allergic reaction - help !!!!

i woke up this morning and across my forehead, cheekbones and eyelids are swollen and slightly sore. i have used a new face cream recently so it may be an allergic reaction. Anyone know how to soothe it and calm it overnight to make it look better for work tomorrow please?????

antihistamine cream or piritin should ease it but I guess that wont help at this time of the night if you hav'nt got any available, sorry

Hi silverdaler do you have any camomile lotion this might sooth your skin it might be a good idea to see your GP if it dose not settle down to night i hope you feel better soon love megan

The same happened to me a few year's back when I tried Astral Face Cream silverdaler. I woke up looking like Frankestein's monster! The doc did'nt give me anything saying the swelling would go down in 24 hour's and it did. Mine did'nt itch so try the calomine lotion as megan suggested.

If you have any aspirin dip one in water and rub over affected areas, this is also good for insect bites.
