is pushing an abuse?
the other night me and my boyfriend were arguing he'd had a drink and he got peed of with me because i was in his face so he puched me over twice and now iv got 2 bruises on my arms and 2 on my legs, this has happened once before, when i spoke to him the next day he was apologetic and he brought me flowers he looked genuily sorry, we have been going out for 4 years and i generally no what makes him tick and i kind of push it especially when iv had a drink so are we both to blame in situations like this ?

Just make sure it never goes any further than that though and if it does you get out. Im sure he never meant it although he could have done it a bit better than actually pushing you over. Now Im not saying you are like this because I dont know the situation but what I dont like is when girls provoke their blokes to get a reaction or think its ok to hit or push them but if they do it back they play the abuse card. Treat your bloke how you wish to be treated yourself. xxx
Domestic violence or abuse is a pattern of controlling and aggressive behaviours from one adult, usually a man, towards another, usually a woman, within the context of an intimate relationship. The forms of abuse whether psychological, economic, emotional and physical - come from the abusers desire for power and control.
Your situation certainly does not appear to come under that banner, and it just sounds as though you had a tiff.
