Hi , i wrote last week about me finding out i had thrush through a smear, and i didnt even know i had it,,,,,
thanks for the replies, but will it go away on its own if its not treated,,, i dont even know its there so wont know when its gone anyway.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.it wont go away on its own - you need to get some cream from the docs or from a pharmacy. They do pessaries too. You need to clear it up, because any sexual partner you have could catch it, even in their mouth, and its usually really irritating for women but can be even more horrific for men. Plus, if you start to have the symptoms, you'll know all about it. Best to get it sorted - cream isnt much as will do the trick in a short space of time
sorry about late reply. cream is called canesten and you can buy from chemist without prescription, and you can also buy tablet, think its called diflocan, which is effective but pricey. partner must also be treated or you will both just keep passing it back and forward, so to speak. refrain from you know what for a few days and hopefully you will get sorted. hope this helps
