Monologue suggestions

Can anyone help me find a comedy monologue and dramatic monologue that lasts no longer than one minute (female)? I can't find any that stand out, I want something unique but that i feel totally comfortable with. I need to learn 2 by next Wednesday and i'm panicking!

Why not take the lyrics from a song and read them say in the style of a vicar giving a sermon??

Peter Sellers did this to great effect.

Joyce Grenfell (for inspiration)

Have a look at �What Flower Are You?� and �Lally Tullet� or any of the nursery monologues - I am sure you will find them in a bookshop if not on the net, or you might find a recording of �Joyce Grenfell Requests The Pleasure � 1954� etc in the comedy section of your local HMV.
