Has anyone on AB ever won big on the Lottery, if so what have you done with the money??

My cousin and her hubby won about 2.4m not too long ago.

They gave about 25k each to parents and brothers and sisters etc (nothing to cousins :o( )

Its caused a great deal of problems!

My cousin is an identical twin her sister has become really upset by everything and how her sisters changed.

They've grown up together as best friends but they hardly see each other now.

My cousin that won is also extremely unhappy in her marriage but due to this big win and all other attachments (child, house etc) i dont think she'll leave him, even though her parents and sister wish she would.

They're in th eprocess of buying a house for about 300k and they also bought two cars.

actually come to think of it, think they're buying a more expensive house... 300k's nothing... unless they're moving further out of london.

I've never won anything big, but have started to do the same numbers as my dad as he thinks it's funny to tell people if he wins he is going to put my share in a trust fund until I'm 65. Can't wait to see hes face if he ever gets 6 numbers, as he don't know I do the same ones.

Got 4 numbers last week and got 71.00, bought some flip -flops in preparation for the holiday I'm booking when I hit the big one ! x x

Hmmm, i won �5,000 last november on the dream number(which i told you on here). I spent it within 6 weeks. Bought loads of clothes and gambled a lot and went out a lot...

You have a far higher chance of being murdered than winning the lottery, knowing my luck I would get murdered the day after winning the jackpot!!!

I have never bought a lottery ticket and never will, think of all the money I'm saving!!!

The lady who made tea/coffee for visitors at my old company won 5.3 million. It couldn't have happened to a nicer more deserving lady, the jealous looks she got from all the richer/senior members of staff was priceless, especially as she was telling everyone she was never coming back!

We once thought we'd got 4 numbers! New sofa we thought... no such luck. Teletext was playing up and wasn't showing the 2nd digit on some of the numbers.

I know a scotsman who won 130k. He was a prat before and is now a prat who tries to look down his nose at people. It's truely laughable. And he's still not bought me a pint. Tight fisted git.

I know a very wealthy husband and wife who won �7.2m on the lottery. They already owned racehorses and several houses with nice cars and so the winnings were purely disposable income! They are a really nice genuine, down to earth and generous couple, so it is easy to hate them! Money goes to money.

crete, sorry if I gave you the impression I thought all scots were tight. I don't. I'd say the same thing about anyone who bent my ear for 2 hours about what he's going to spend his 130k on and not offered to purchase a pint for me.
