Miss Random, the guitarist is the brilliant Yngvie Malmsteen, the best heavy metal guitarist ever and very much a man!!! I've been a huge fan of his for many, many years and this is one of my favorite videos. A bit disheartening if you want to have your first lesson though LOL! He is the modern day version of Andres Segovia, my other guitar hero and the man responsible for introducing the guitar into popular music. I've seen both men in concert many times and they were absolutely amazing! !Thanks RATTER, I loved that! XXX :o)
RATTER, that is some guitar playing !

I have 3 guitars and play all equally badly. I found the greatest confidence boost comes when you can play barre chords with ease, e.g. try B or B flat.

I have seen Hank Marvin live several times - when he gets away from the twangy Apache stuff he is awesome.
