What is it with hair ?

Your hair gets thinner as you get older and you start to lose it slowly.
But for some reason hair seems to grow more in the your ears and nose.
Why is this ?

Don't know the answer to your initial Q mrk......but I'd like to know why mens ears carry on gowing as they get older....and womens don't.

It's all the nagging.

Our ears are made of muscle and the nagging builds muscle tissue, making them much larger than they ought to be.

As they grow larger, it has a constricting effect on the ear canal, thus causing selective deafness.

Old men's noses get bigger too.... no, really.

When ever you see photo's in the paper of old people celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and they put the photos of 'then' and 'now' the men appear to have much bigger noses and ears!

Makes you wonder what evolution has in mind for us... what with bigger and hairier noses and ears on our menfolk???

I don't think we are actually loosing hair, I think it just cant make it to the top of our heads any more so it takes the course of least resistance and follows the light out of our ears and noses, yes its happening to me as well and I'm only 49!!!

I don't think my ears and nose is growing though!!

I will measure up and see!!
