I am going to hang my little flag in my window (no funny remarks thank you) seriously the council where I live have banned taxi drivers from displaying England flags so as not to upset.....other ( cant say what or else i'll get banned.

We have a bloke who stands in the next Village, at the busiest junction dressed as St George. One year the council tried to get him arrested ... Police paid lip service by turning out, but let him be. Good call !!!

Would just like to clarify Puss...that I expect to be entitled to celebrate St Patrick's day...and therefore expect that all English people should be entitled to celebrate St George's day if they want to,with out any hassle !!

Elvis68. I agree most of our ethnic friends laugh at the PC brigade. Mostly want to live and let live, its us lot that make the problems. Not me and you of course but the bl**dy do gooders, they constantly go over the top. My daughter is a teacher of reception class and they are not allowed to say 'baa baa black sheep' they have to say baa baa coloured sheep.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or baa baa white sheep. I live next door to a farm and there are loads of black sheep just been born this week.

Schools are just as bad, where I used to live my kids had Diwali days, Ramadam days,day trips to mosques etc, they did fook all on St Georges Day though
