But never the less, using a PC that's not his own is highly inappropriate for doing that, especially if young kids use it. It is very easy to check your PC's web history. I was only trying to point that out to save him doing it again whilst suggesting other things to do to keep him occupied! Just think about what you're doing or everytime you sit at your PC think to yourself, "How can I use my powers of having a PC for good?" - You could perhaps set up a Bebo account or a Myspace and keep in touch with folk that you haven't seen in ages, I've spoken to some guys I hadn't seen in over a decade this week! How amazing is that???
Porn addiction can be very serious. Would you be telling a gambling addict to f**k off and get a proper hobby? Wouldn't that be slightly more abhorrent if they were only 16?
jonnoman - If there's no help available (and it doesn't sound like you're out of control) then I'm afraid that it's going to have to come down to some sort of willpower, and distraction. Essentially the cold shower trick, but it obviously doesn't have to be that. Go for a run, call up a mate, anything, but try and leave the computer. Perhaps limit your computer time to only when people are around and you can't actually do anything?
