any info on polymyalgia
2 Answers
Hi,
I'm being tested for polymyalia rheumatica (constant muscle/joint ache and stiffness). If confirmed positive then a long course of cortico steroids will be in order to sort it out. Theses steroids have many unwanted side effects, bone thinning, some hair loss possible, facial weight gain(moonface effect).
Is there anything out there that would have the same results as the steroids but with less effects. Or has anyone any other tips on easing the aches etc.
I have googled it and found out most of this info.
