Now I just know that I am going to get no end of comical replies but here goes in the faint hope that a shred of concern and advice may pop up! About a year ago whilst on holiday we were having a lovely romantic evening,to put it tactfully. Next thing I know its morning. When I saw the very wierd way my partner was looking at me I asked why, and after about an hour he said that during sEx I suddenly fell into a dead sleep, almost like fainting. He had though I was mucking about for a few minutes but then realised I was really out for the count. I though he was winding me up till I saw how serious he was. I was stunned and didnt know what to say. Then I apparently did this about 2 months ago, and when he told me I felt awful, Now this week I have done it 3 times and he is barely talking to me. He is taking it personally, which I understand, but I am panic-stricken as I honestly do not know why I am doing this and don't know what to do. I really don't think he will put up with this for much longer, and I can hardly blame him. Any suggestions?????

Sorry hun, no suggestions.... but thank god it's not just me!

Last boyfriend I had, apparently had a really great night with, 'cept I don't remember it... never got him that warmed up again since (hence the fact he is now an ex) but still haven't a clue what happened.
And yes, he also thought I was joking!!.... men are just too toooo fragile!!
Just tell him to carry on without you!!
you should go on top!!!

Ha ha ha!!!! If it wasn't for the fact that I know he would never ever make something up like this I would swear he was winding me up. I just cannot believe it. When I woke up at 5am this morning and he wasn't in bed I knew I had done it again - he had gone and slept in the spare room as he was so upset I had done it again.
Hi Pink! :o)

On the nights when it happens have you had a lot to drink beforehand?
It could be stress or a medical condition. I would go to your Doctors and seek advice. At least this way your partner can see how worried you are and that you are trying to do something about it .

ruge - apparently the first time I was indeed on top and I just keeled over sideways in slow motion!
No suggestions, just wanted to say you are a lazy cow! i wouldn't like to have sex with a corpse, try having a bit more lively sex, change positions, keep the light on etc.

Hi Wingnut - yes I probably have been drinking, but not drunk if you know what I mean. We drink wine most evenings and always have done but this has never happened before.

Most helpful Skreecheeboy - I though outside on the patio WAS lively ; )
Aaahh, Pink... don't stress.

At least subconciously you're doing something right... I'm still looking for my next victim to fall asleep on. lol.

When in doubt, pass the buck! Tell him he needs to keep you more interested for you to stay awake!! Did I mention I'm single (and haven't a clue why!!).

Do you live in Kent?? Apparently the earth moved there!
Def pop along to your Doc's Pink, not trying to worry you or anything but they would be the best people to speak with.
I must say I think he is being a bit of a meany, it's not like you are doing this on purpose! and taking it personally isn't helping the matter.

I think it's just knocking his confidence a bit. The rest of the time, (when I am awake!! lol) everything is more than good in that department. I made it up to him yesterday following morning if you get my drift , but then did it again last night!!
That happened to me too Pink..only it was Mr P who fell asleep.

To this day he reckons I rocked him off to sleep. The git.
You fell asleep having sex on the patio!!!!!!!!!!! that sounds more like narcolepsy

Someone posted a question like this before, cant remember who but it was a man. It is a medical condition Look at Ratter15s link.
could be narcolepsy, but that's not limited to sex. Are you dropping off unawares any other time? It could be dangerous if you're driving, for instance. Could it be related to drink/drugs, or exhaustion from work or sport or anything? If there's no obvious cause like that, this might be one to take to your GP.

Hi guys - no I don't do this at any other time at all. I am on thyroxine for an underactive thyroid and have lost over a stone in weight in the last 6 weeks through diet and exercise but can't see any of this would cause this. problem : )
maybe you're just tired and sex is exhausting you more, and you cannot wait for it to finish, you just fall asleep. you are not the only one that's experiencing this, many others too.
