I did the carboot sale and even though it piddled with rain.. I made �100! I am soooo chuffed. Have been awake since 5am though so I think I will have a well deserved early night.. After all.. I have to face work tomorrow after Saturdays boob ordeal! Lol..

Lmao.. I got up at 5am.. was out the door by 5:45.. drove about 25mins and then set up shop with my sister!

I did something REALLY embarrassing though....

I was leaning against the car chatting to my sister and a woman was rumaging through a box of clothes at my stall and I saw some man walking along holding a little dog under his arm... the dog didn't look comfortable so I started saying to my sister... "That poor dog.. put the thing down, it has legs... look.. it is clearly not loving it! Who does he think he is Paris Hilton? It even has a lead... let it bloomin walk" and the man walked straight up to the woman at my stall who had heard everything and said 'Alright... found anything you like yet?'...... I was mortified... she looked at him and said 'Can you put the dog down? It's embarrassing'!!! Me and my sister needless to say came over all hysterical and couldn't control ourselves... then I kept seeing the man walking around and the dog was wandering along by his side.. happy as larry! Lol.. I think I did the dog a favour.

That is a good result for a boot sale. Anyone who hasnt done one has no idea...... There is always one item that everyone picks up but nobody buys!

My father in law made me take a little silver pin cushion to the bootsale for him last weekend and to ask �45 for it. I told him he was daft as it was worth at least twice that. Everyone picked it up but no one wanted to buy it at that price.

So I bought it home, put it on Ebay and tonight it sold for nearly �250. I'm very pleased with myself as I like to say "I told you so"! All those daft s0ds at the bootsale thought I was mad asking �45. Ha ha, if only they knew what a bargain they could have bought!

My father bought an item for 50p thinking it was a Potpourri for a my younger sister who used to collect them.
It turned out to be a sugar shaker by Clarice Cliff and it was sold at Sotheby's for over a �1000 pounds not bad for 50p.
