I did wear them for a while (30 day continuous wear) and was advised by my optician that you shouldn't wear them overnight, everynight because of an increased risk of eye infection. They're safer when used like normal lenses, with the occasional overnight.

No worries - to be honest the occasional 'overnighter' was all I needed anyway - just so long as I didn't have to fish out my lenses whilst drunk at the weekends!!!! They were pretty comfortable too, the only reason I stopped wearing them was because they couldn't get my prescription right (I'm very slightly short sighted) and it annoyed me that my vision wasn't that much better with lenses than without.
Depends on you really. They will test them on you for a bit. I wanted to have these when I went to glasto as didnt want to keep messing with contact lenses in muddy fields but they gave my eyes jip so wasnt allowed to have them.
Consider having the eye laser surgery. I did and now wished i had years ago!!! All that money i've spent on lenses and glasses over the years would have covered the surgery twice over.

Best thing i ever done!
but surely after time your eyesight will get worse again wont it
I have had them for about 3 years now and love them. I won't risk my eyes at all having nearly lost my right eye in an accident but these are great. In all that time I've had one episode of conjunctivits - and when that happened I threw away the pair I was wearing, went back to my glasses until it had fully cleared up and then put a fresh pair in. I have a plan with boots - 24 per month, covers tests, lenses, solution if I need it and reduction on glasses.

They don't suit everyone but I love them
