When I go into the Sun on a hot day my skin feels very sensitive and I then start getting goosebumps and feel a burning sensation on my skin. Although I not actually, physically burning my body reacts as it I have been out in the sun all day without protection (that type of feeling) - does anyone know what is causing this, or had/have this problem. Its getting worse each year (I was fine until I turned 20 - I'm not 34). Would love to hear from anyone with this same experience or any ways to pu this right. Thks.

It sounds as if you have either Prickly heat or Solar urticaria both are caused by the sun and you get a prickly rash when the sweat glands block and a burning sensation, a good antihistamine should help.

Thanks Moonshadow. I can confirm its not prickly heat, plus I do not suffer a rash. Dr has already suggested taking antihistermines, which I have tried and they had no impact. I will look up Solar Urtucaria to see if this could be relevant to what I have. Some people have suggested its in my mind and I should seek hypnotherapy - not sure if this would work though.
