I'm going to have my eyebrows shaped (waxed) today. How often do I need to repeat the process?

i go and have mine waxed about every 4 weeks or 5 some times .
Depends on what type of wax they use as to whether it'll work on short hairs - I used to get mine done every 4-6 weeks - now just pluck them following the shape that the professional used when they were waxed.
The more you have them done the more they will need doing I was always led to believe.
no thats not right with waxing the more you have it done the less hair next time

Thanks for everyone's replies. I'll have to see how it goes.
true wbout the waxing maybe but not about the plucking.
The more often I have them waxed the less often they need doing.

My mum has been having it done for so long her eyebrows are no trained and she merely has to tidy them up every so often.
When i first got mine done i needed them done about every 4 weeks. However, as others say, they will need done less often as time goes on (providing you keep getting them waxed). Now mine go about 3 months before needing done again.

This is because constant waxing/plucking (which is essentially the same thing) weakens the roots of the hairs, which eventually die

Thanks again. I'll try 4-weekly & see how things go.
