I had one of these yesterday under general anaesthetic. I still feel like poo now and my temperature is at 37.5 deg and it's not coming down. Is this normal, or could i have an infection?

well 37 is normal.

so i doubt its an infection
My friend had a laparoscopy a while back and felt like sh!te for about 3 days so I think it's pretty normal.
It could be the tranquilizers or muscle relaxants they give you that are making you feel awful, rather than the treatment itself.
btw, laparoscopys, ''inflate'' you, in order to get a better look inside, which can be felt for days later - bizarrely in the shoulders!
A general anaesthetic can make you feel like poo for several days and as joko says they inflate you during a laparoscopy which doesn't help. I would have thought that your temperature would have been higher if you had an infection.
