Sunburn and sunscreen questions
4 Answers
After my previous question on sunscreen, I remembered lots of other sunscreen and/or sunburn related questions I wanted to ask too, so I thought I would put them all on the same thread so I don't clog up the board with several different threads! And help with any of these questions would be much appreciated!
1) I've been badly sunburned on my shoulders a few times in the past, and the area is now very freckly, which I know means it has been badly damaged. What can I do in future to protect that area especially in the sun?
2) are there any supplements or things in your diet you can take as well as obviously using sunscreen to help limit damage? Such as drinking green tea or taking vitamin E?
3) Is there anything that can be done to reverse previous sunburn damage? It's scary to read about people who have developed skin cancer partly from a sunburn case years before.
4) Are there any high SPF factor organic sunscreens out there?
5) Can anyone recommend a spray that can be used to protect my hair and my hairline in the sun?
6) How long will waterproof sunscreens last in water before you will need to reapply them?
7) Can anyone recommend a good waterproof sunscreen?
8) I've seen solar detection device which tell you when sun levels are dangerously high, on sale in Boots for 24.95, would this be worth buying?
9) Is there a separate sunscreen that you should use to cover small moles?
Thanks, sorry about the long post!
