does anybody know the height ranges you have to be in to be classed as a dwarf of a midget?!

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Both dwarfs and midgets are short; however, a dwarf - to be a little technical about it - suffers from achondroplasia. This means that all four limbs are shorter than normal, but the head and body are of more or less normal size.
A midget has no such 'deformity', if you wish to call it that. In other words, all parts are in proportion to each other, but they are simply extremely small. I do not believe there are any specific 'heights' that apply.
