I had a look, and it must have been a toad or a frog, red and green bits. It's like pushing the mower over a hidden piece of fox sh!t and a bit flying up onto your cheek, mind you nothing is worse than working a seed bed to a fine tilth and coming across a piece of cat poo, it slithers between the fingers and makes you wonder if beetroot isn't better bought from Waitrose.
I'm with whiffey on the cat poo in the garden thing. We've just bought a Super Soaker water gun solely for shooting any cats caught cr@pping from now on. There are 2 or 3 culprits, and they're not very subtle about it, so I'm quite confident at least one will be soaked this weekend.
And I won't feel bad, either!!
