i met my husband on the internet. we spoke online/phone for a couple of years as friends before we met up. i would never have met up had i not have known him for so long. we didn't go out looking for love, we were both in relationships, and it was purely a friendship thing. then one day, i travelled a couple of hundred miles to meet him(!) and that was it! love! 5 1/2 years later we're married and glad we did it!

yeah, it progressed. i felt like i loved him before i went up there. but i didn't go up with the intention to 'fall in love' or 'make things work'. i felt like we were really good friends and i thought i'd travel up and see him. we spent time together, and it all just clicked. we had a long distance realtionship for a year and a half before moving in together, so it all felt right:)

I met my girlfriend nearly 4 years ago on dating direct, we had been talking for about 6 weeks and had seen photos of each other before we met.
I did not feel the same way at the time but she told me that she fell in love with me before we even met, so I suppose that it is possible.
