What have you done today or recently that was in no way for your benefit, totally for someone else?? I know you've all got it in you to make someone's day, so how did you do it? Tell me all about your good karma!!

I have just come back from the recycling yard where I helped a woman carry her rubbish up the steps,as she was struggling.... whilst everyone else rushed past her as if she was invisible :o)
I was called out to a job the other day, and it was a pensioner, all the lights had gone out, we repaired them and didn't charge her, she was so worried about how much it was going to cost her, she cried when we told her we would settle for a cup of tea and some biccies, she was such a lovely old girl, why do some people con them ???

Two unsung heroes - that's exactly what I meant! Something nice will be waiting round the corner for you, I'm sure of it...:o)
Ray, you have restored my faith in humanity.
Ray, that was very kind, I have watched those programs on TV where they rip off people and it makes me so mad, its good to know that there are still good people out there!

Oh and I helped an old lady yesterday, I brought in her wheelie bins for her, she was on a walking stick.
Awww! That's so lovely of you, ray! What a sweetie... you too, ELVIS!

I'm driving 100 miles away to pick up my nan's friend from Sussex tomorrow. She has Alzheimer's, gets very lonely and her children don't really bother with her anymore. Does that count? x
Thank you, but it took me half an hour of my time, and about 5.00 in materials, most tradesmen are honest, but that would not make good telly would it, I detest these blokes that con people, we earn good money, we do not need to screw people.
Hello whiskey, what you are doing is fantastic, that is a really lovely thing to do, of course that counts. xx
Thanks, ray! :o) She's a lovely, old lady. She can't remember much from recently, but can remember nearly everything from her childhood.

She reminisces with me in the car about when 'we' were growing up, playing where they lived in Kensington. It's so sad, she thinks I'm my nan as I look a lot like she did when she was younger.

Hope you're well, Uncle Ray. x
Ray gave me some electrical advice via email just before christmas..he wanted 50 though lol
my good deed of the day is not murdering anyone
Hey ELVIS, that was so i could do jobs for little old ladies for nothing. and the bloody cheque bounced, lol

Absolutely, whiskey, of course it counts. Nice one warpig too!

I knew you were a good bunch...

Nannon - would you have normally then? I'm sure everyone will agree that yours is a good deed, but have you just put it off til tomorrow? That's what's worrying me!

Well ok, but don't laugh at one of them, because there are two.

I stopped to check on an old man who was leaning against a wall, looking a bit breathless, and asked if he was ok. He was really touched, but in fact was just having a breather. Lots of people were walking past him, and it upset me, but it turned out alright.

The other one was this morning, and this is the funny one.....On our way to school we passed a family going the other way. Same kind of stressed mum having trouble hurrying her 4 or 5 up. She was shouting for one of them to catch up, but he was nowhere to be seen. As we walked further up the hill, I saw him hanging from a fence post by the hood of his coat, looking a bit cross, so I unhooked him. He'd been messing about in someone's garden and tried to jump the fence! The boys and I laughed our heads off once he'd run off!!!

Actually, I think you CAN laugh if you like...:o)

LOL NGF, that was funny, bless the poor little mite.

And I think nannon maybe should have stars too, after all. You're a model of self-restraint, and I applaud you!! Jolly well done :o)
Well I've done nothing like that but just wanted to acknowledge all the good turns people do for me when they see I can't reach up to the top shelf at the supermarket.
I always tell them that I've just shined their halo for them and thank them for helping.
Thanks all!
