acute urticaria

have been on 2 x anti histermines for 3 yrs and just beginning to not wk anymore. does anyone suffer from this and what do you take. off abroad in a few wks and want it to be under control again. no rash just v itchy when bathed or too hot or too cold!!!!

Hi lynnelou, I suffered with severe uritcaria and hives since I was 13, 20 years on and I have just stopped having attacks, I used to take Calrityn and Piriton together on a daily basis which helped. It is a nightmare allergy to have...Piriton makes you very drowsy though.

I'm on Fexofenadine 120mg a day for delayed pressure urticaria. It's not the hivey reaction either, but a full blown angioadaema :(. The fexy works well though.
