i get nervous if I have to travel into Manchester in case a local lad has been deluded into thinking he should blow people up he does not know.
I won't be putting up with it, i will report any suspicious people who don;t look like they have at least 3 generations of British ancestry whilst carrying a rucksack and a mobile phone, and guess what, i don't care who calls me for it, i have had enough of people telling me not to be so prejudice. i am not asking for approval, just comment if you want, nasty or supporting, i don't care any more.

i havn't mentuioned any religion at all, people are too quick to use the word racist, i am anti-terrorist, if that is a muslim then i am anti them, if it is born and bred Scouser, i am anti them, noone gets how people are feeling, which is scared and intimidated by all the news and coverage with no clear guidance

I'm from N.I.and for many years,an Irish accent from north or south (and inevitably,the person with it) was treated with real suspicion outside of this country. I experienced the looks and people avoiding you,many times. Never...at any time,did I think these people were judging me personally,I accepted that however unpleasant it was,it was because people who sounded like me were bombers. It is only human nature to suspect and be wary of people who resemble those who carry out evil acts.

here's some good advice: don't let the media panic you. Remember our parents (if in London) lived with the Luftwaffe carpet-bombing them every night, and when that didn't work, sending pilotless bombs flying across the channel at them. What we've had over the last few days is three cars rigged up as bombs, none of which went off. I think they'd giggle at the idea that we are 'at war'. I plan going on living exactly as I have been doing all these years and not changing anything, not even my Muslim colleagues at work. I'm just not scared, same as I wasn't when the IRA was at work. I recommend you do the same. Life's too short to spend it panicking.

I'm not so sure I would want to put ALL my trust with the 'anti-terrorism experts'-after all they are the ones who saw fit to shoot that poor young Brazilian man 2yrs ago because he 'looked suspicious'. Being cautious is one thing-paranoia is another kind of evil that only breeds hatred.
