i was told years ago that i had an inverted womb. is it true that i cant get pregnant because of this and if so why not?

If you had this then you should surely be having it pushed back in, immediately. How far has it "come out"?
That is a prolapsed womb, goodsoulette.

An inverted womb is very common, and just mean the womb is tilted the 'wrong way'.

It won't prevent you getting pregnant, and shouldn't cause any particular problems during pregnancy, but it is true that it may be a little harder to get pregnant.

Women with this condition are advised to put a pillow beneath their hips for 15 minutes (or longer) after intercourse - it's as simple as that. It helps everything flow in the right direction, as it were.

Of course you are going to speak to your GP and get your mind put at rest. But really, nothing to worry about.
