Last Monday, our daughter won 50 from a Take-a-Break comp. Then on Tuesday, a 100 worth of Tesco vouchers from a Pick-me-Up comp. On Saturday she won 10 on the lottery & 2 from a scratch card.
She's also won 1,000 from a comp, two family holidays abroad, a stereo & numerous other things in the past!
Has anyone else had a run of winning things like this?
(P.S. It's great 'cos she only has time to do the comp's, then passes them straight onto me to do the arrow words - I don't enter comp's myself though)!
i won ten quid on the lottery and that's it, my sister is forever winning stuff though but when i get her to pick my lottery numbers i still dont win :(
have one lottery various times. lots of tenners and 4 numbers 4 times now. Just waiting for big win, I had a dream I was weeing money last week so fingers crossed, or legs :-)
You are a tough custamer.
If you were getting rid of the money from your body, that is classed as discarding a waste product.
So if you combine both meanings together, hey presto you have an answer.
Unless you want to make my job even more difficult.
Well done to your daughter smudge , seems she had a lucky spell going eh . I used to send in the comps from mags every week but have long since given in , I don't even buy the mags now.
I did seem to have the knack , or luck , of getting on the tv quiz shows though and have had a good share of the winnings , which incidently didn't cost me anything as I entered via the free web entries. :-) xx
I've won a few tenners on the lottery, and once got 4 numbers which won me 77, which was great as we'd just come back from holiday, skint! Best of all though was a holiday to Florida I won ages ago, when I was 20. It was for two people, including a 3-day ticket for Disney and Epcot and 300 spending money. Pretty cool - but I chose my (now ex) bf to go with me which was a BIG mistake. I've always wished I'd taken my best friend at the time, but there you go...!
My mother-in law keeps winning things, no money, but holidays, radio's, meals etc, its got to the stage, where whenever I go round there, I ask, 'what have you won now'?
