Im pretty dissapointed with my diet. I've been following it for nearly one month now. I used to eat junk food all the time, ready meals, pizza, lots of carbs like white rice and pasta, and 100g bar of chocolate each day. I also never used to eat fruit n veg.
Now I have muesli with skimmed milk for breakfast and beans on wholemeal toast. I snack on rice cakes, oat cakes,Ryvita with houmous, and lots of fruit. I cut out all the junk food, swapped to skimmed milk, wholemeal bread, rice and pasta..and have salad .in the first 2 weeks I lost one kg respectively each week. I weigh myself once a week, in the last 2 weeks Ive lost NO weight. What is going on? Am I destined to be fat even when eating healthily?

you have to do the regular exercise as well, doesnt have to be crazy stuff just moving about more, try adding a 15 min walk as well

If your weight does not pose any serious health risks just be happy with who you are, you are more likely to end up being fatter because of dieting messing up you metabolism.
aint that the truth ratter!!, diets only make you fat! just eat normal food, not all the diet crap
Heya, congrats on losing weight :D
Whilst dieting, you will lose a fair bit of weight each week for the first few weeks then it will slow right down/halt for a while. Stick at it. But do remember even over indulging on the healthy things is still calories. With me it is all or nothing so i have to be really strict with myself else if i allow myself , il just eat everything again! Last 2 weeks my daily diet has consisted of... fruit for breakfast (2 satsumas or a banana)- 1 small roll with chicken and a small amount of mayonaise for lunch, then for tea just anything normal really but with veg i.e instead of lasange and chips, il have lasagne and lots of veg, or fish pie and lots of veg, or a chicken burger with salad. It seems to be working for me you dont have to change ur whole diet just change the snacking and have healthier alternatives even if it is my having veg or salad instead of chips!
Good luck youre doing well i know how hard it can be :)
Oh yeah and meant to add, i do half an hour on the cross trainer mon-fridays and give myself a break at the weekends! good luck :)
Look at it this way, at least the weight is not going on.
In the long run you will get slimmer and start feeling slimmer.
You must exercise though, find something that you would like doing.
I have got a step which I do whilst watching tv.

ok. The only exercise I have been doing so far is running to the fridge and jumping to conclusions.
i joined slimming world other month i cant stop eating so never went back ......i weigh more now than b4
Execrise is the key, however... I would recommend looking it a low GI diet, bread rice and pasta while low in fat still contain enough calories and (depending on the type) are high GI, this means their energy is released quickly and causes an imbalance in insulin production.

Regarding WoWo's comments on GI foods-spaghetti,basmati rice and breads such as malt loaf, wholegrain rye and wheat tortillas are all in the low to medium GI range and are therefore slow release foods.
