Bedroom pest
12 Answers
My room was infested with midges last night!!! (albeit my fault for leaving the bedroom light on to attract them).
Anybody else had a few of these lately?
What's the best way to get rid of them to avoid being eaten alive throughout the night? (I did consider turning off my bedroom light and then turning on my flatmate's light so that they'd go in there instead, but decided this wasn't a very friendly gesture).

To me they usually seem fairlt sleepy/still during the day so I tend to just take a duster to them and shove the duster outside.
I had a mutant (bug) living in my room a while a go and in the end I turned the hall light on, my light off, left the door open and went out... my housemates found and dealt with it. I advocate that approach :0)

my mate lives in a flat next to the canal and has the same problem. she invented something i thought was wicked. she cut out some thin fabric the same size as the window(cant remember what it was but thin enough so that the air could get in when she had the window open and the midges couldn't get through) and put some double sided tape around the edge and put it on the window. no she can let the air in and keep the midges out!
