I'm at a loss of course. Pardon the spelling.
cant help with what to say but some tips on what not to! i was widowed 4yrs ago aged28 and people do say stupid things. "i know how you must be feeling" unless you have lost your partner you dont. "its easier to deal with when your younger". why? my mum even told me i wasnt suffering as much as her husband(who lost his son). maybe i wasnt but it didnt help being told it. sorry could go on forever! just be there to listen, help out, have a drink with but most of all give her a hug that was what i really missed in the early days of my husbands death.
Just be there for her. She must be past comforting at the moment. I think the worst thing must be the people who avoid you because they don't know what to say.
Twizzle is the best one to listen to - hope the pain is less now, Twiz x x
life is sooo much better now. met a really lovely guy who is fantastic with my kids and we now have a gorgeous 11wk old boy. so people are right when they say time is a great healer. but still dont say that to a widow!!
