Yes I know I was the one who first started the posting of youtube links, primarily on wedding song posts etc, and for that I have created a monster.

My question, unless the post is directly aimed at somebody, or has an explanation prior to openning it, who would admit to not really bothering openning it up at all.

I for one never bother nowadays. Am I alone in thinking "Oh another unfunny, poor quality, irrelevent, needless slice of video?

I think i've only ever opened two or possibly three? And those have been on the other categories, never here on B&S. The last one I did open was one about a dog needing rehoming which was in Animals & Nature (oddly enough!) and I honestly wish I hadn't done, I cried bloody buckets!

And no- I didnt open this one either ^^^^

I don't think anybody does bother. When loads are posted together you can clearly see that the time of the postings it would be impossible to actually watch the link.

A waste of bloody time.

i have tried to explain this, you tube is a very personal thing a person goes on to you tube to look at things that interest them eg music, tv programmes from yesteryear etc and the chances of a lot of people enjoying what you like to the extent they are going to sit through an entire link are slim, again i have made this point before but it is like someone at work coming back from a 2 week holiday and showing you endless pictures of themselves on a beach, in a bar, standing on their head, in a car, on a roller coaster, eating an ice cream they are incredibly tedious because you were not there, they are personal only to that person and you tube links are the same no one is interested
