im currently jobless at the moment well nearly imworking my weeks notice and looking for a job. im really worried about not having any money etc.. what is important to you most money or just the concept of actually living your life? ta xxxx
I worry about money alot, I dont think I could just go for it without knowing I had money behind me in case anything happened, especially owning my own flat. But good luck to you, money isnt everything unless you owe it.
Unless you`ve got a nice few quid in the bank, I wouldn`t quit your job until you find another one or your next thread will be "I`m homeless..what can I do to decorate my new park bench"?
A bit of both,in my opinion. As I'm young at the moment, I can work hard and make loads of money so when I have enough I can then focus on enjoying my life (spending my money :))
As they say, money isn't everything but it affect to what extent you may enjoy your life.
Mr Sense likes to have an ' eff off fund' that means that he could jack it in if they asked him to do something morally reprehensible.
I would just downsize to be happy. Flog the lot. Find somewhere cheaper in the country to live.
Hi Sam, well i'm a firm believer in being happy, and in reality you spend most of your life at work. If you are not getting on at work and its making you unhappy then i don't blame you for leaving!! Not sure if thats your situation but i'm in pretty much the same postion. Yes money is V. important and you need it to live but i am too thinking of packing in my job when i have no other money coming in purely because its getting me down. I am hoping to just get some temp work thru an agency till i find somethin more permanent. I think you just need to make sure you really watch your spending over the next few weeks and really cut down on little luxuries.. thats what i have been doing and have really noticed a different in my bank balance. You will find something soon i am sure.. What kind of work do you do if you don't mind me asking? Sorry i went on a little there, just nice to someone else in similar situation! I am not alone!
hi pinkie, thats exactly how i feel hun. i do general office work and a bit of accounts also iv been looking everywhere though cant find nothing i have signed up with an agency though so il see what happens there xxx
Sam, I used to work in recruitment, sign with all the agencies you can : even if they get the same job in, some may pay you more an hour for it, depending on their profit margins. You could always do something seasonal like Legoland for a complete change over the summer, a change is as good as a rest - so they say!
