Have you ever taken illegal drugs?

It seems this thing about Jacqui Smith having smoked Cannabis is a big issue and I'm not sure whether it should be considered a big deal or not in todays society.

So, my q is: have you taken or tried drugs? I, for the record, never have.

there's a MASSIVE difference between smoking pot for a bit of a laugh or socially and doing what I have done and take class A drugs so often that you become dependant and they start to ruin your life.

everyone i know still smokes, in fact i was the only person i knew who didnt smoke hash. and im still the same.
i may have ranted, but overall i do agree with you ..hash should be de-criminalised. its less harmfull overall in comparason to alcohol and K but it has to be seperated from these more powerfull drugs. Skunk is again a more powerful variety than hash, that needs to be adressed also, rather than the government 's just say no message. harm reduction is the way forward..people need not to be told no but to be educated.

Tried a little weed, didn't do much for me so I never really bothered but a friend of mine was a real dope head and got more and more weird eventually it did his brain in and he threw himself off a bridge, very sad as he used to be a bright and funny chap. On the other hand I had another friend who smoked to counteract the nausea of chemotherapy and it really helped her.

Liked them all for a bit, some of my mates took it a step further with acid and ketamine. One of my mates done a bit of crack and chased the dragon and is now got drug induced psychosis but I think that is mainly due to the amount of skunk he smoked and his troubled childhood.
