Is a little dampened by this continual cr*p weather. Right now we have a thunderstorm of quite spectacular proportions, accompanied by bucketing rain. Are others affected by the weather? I think most people "feel" the weather to an extent. Hope you are all having a good day. Think I am a little stir-crazy! x
went to a 'summer party' at weekend where there was a bbq, but didnt bother any of us, Put shelter over garden and got on with it. To tell you the truth best barbeque I've ever been to
I have to walk to work most days and thats 4 miles of absolute wetness.
I have to walk through a forrest, 3 streams, a ford and then climb 4500 stairs. Think its more than that actually.
Not to good for the soul.
Ye, seriously naffed off with it here too. And to cap it all off I'm going camping in it, to the bloody Lakes of all places! Went out and bought wellies this morning for me and Mini Boo, I'm not holding out much hope of it being bikini weather :-(
I went hiking once last year when it was raining. It was so slippery i slipped off a cliff.
Not going to go into details here, but i'll say one thing and that is, if i hadn't have grabbed onto a small ledge i would have been or should i say not been here today.
I am definately affected by the weather - and so happy that where I am is actually sunny today. This also makes all the people around me in the office happier so listening to less moans is good!! It has been a miserable summer here but I just have to look at the terrible flooding in places and realise how much worse others are at the moment.
Roof has sprung a leak so buckets and bowls everywhere. Supposed to go to friends wedding in Midlands but had to cancel and to top it all my friend and her obnoxious husband had to cancel their holiday so have decided to come here.... Thank you God
4get, long as the food and drink was good I think I would have been happy too!
caz, always the way! BOO, I wil give you a wave, as I am not far from the Lakes. In fact, right now there's a lake in my back yard if you want to stop by!! kiddie wellies are cute!
Yeah, it's wearing thin now isn't it. So is this the end of seasons as we recognise them? x
We have had too much dull rain here too and my window has rain leaking in , inspector is coming to look at it tomorrow .My curtains are ruined and there's a nasty looking stain growing on the ceiling !!!
xx
I am sick of the rain! I am not even bothered if it's not really baking hot but a bit of sun wouldn't go a miss. At this rate we'll all be on St John's Wort by Christmas.
