Walking on broken glass
7 Answers
My partner forgot to let me know he had accidentally broken a glass, so there I was last night paddling around in the kitchen in bare feet, when i notices little trails of blood coming from my feet, this happened more and more until the excrutiating pain began to hit me and I had to sit down, lots of little cuts on my feet! I am in agony today when i walk - i soaked my feet in hot water but they are still painful - how can i get rid of the glass splinters ? ouch !

Get them before your skin heels over them or else you will get more pain in a few weeks time.
As for your partner not telling you, i think it shows just how much he thinks of you... :)

This has happened to me before. One night the cupbored with all the glasses in fell down and all the glasses smashed in the kitchen. I woke up, and sleepwalked downstairs and into the kitchen. I got a sandwitch from the fridge and went back up to bed. The following morning there was a half eaten sandwitch and a pool of blood all in the bed and up the stairs and evrywere. I couldn't feel my feet. Straight away i paniced and rushed to the doctors, which is just up the street. I was reffered to A&E. They put bandiges on my feet and i was ok. Apart from i couldn't walk for 6 monts after.
I don't know how they removed the glass shards from my feet, i'm just thankfull i can walk.
