If you have fun with someone and like spending time with them, and think they are a nice person but then when you see them with their own friends, they are a completely different person... which person is the real them?

both, and possibly more, I would imagine they are a different person once again when they are with their own family as well.

I suppose! Do you act completely yourself with colleagues, friends, family etc? All the time?
See I do.. I think I do anyway and I hate it when people say 'Just be yourself' because I always think 'Who else am I going to be?'.. But when I like someone.. I do see myself being different!
A lot of people dont, they paint an image of what they think people want to see, my friend used to be quite miserable and negative yet once she was at work she was the life and soul of the party.

she is still a misery guts and does get depressed a lot for very insignificant reasons, people at work would never suspect, her boyfriend knows only too well though. the people that know you the best are your partners or close family.

I think i can be different depending on the company im in.

Are you saying they are nice when with you but not nice when they are with other people?

I'm saying that when it is just me and them, we get on great, they are a great person to be around... but when it's them and their friends they tend to be a bit of a kn0b! Not by being rude to me or anything... just seem to be different! Maybe it's just lads being lads!
You must have seen Grease RR! Remember the scene at the start and the scene where she bumps into him again? Im guessing its a bit like that!

I think its perhaps a bit of blokey bravado to be honest, shame cause it hints that he is a little bit childish if he feels he needs to behave differently infront of his mates.

and RR, you never give me stars! :-)
Oops, sorry! im eating my words as i type LOL

Ahhhhh yes! What a good comparison! I think that's what it is! He isn't horrible to me but he turns into one of the lads and pervs on other girls and joins in with ladish banter but then when it's just me and him again he is a nice guy and we have chats like normal... don't get me wrong, we take the mick out of eachother and have banter but it's not the same as when he is with the lads.

Im sorry RR. I cant think straight right now cause i just popped into media and found out Frank Bitcher is dead!
