Are shoulder/armpit pains normal with Implanon?

My girlfriend recently had Implanon implanted and has pretty much continuously been suffering with...

dull, dead arm type ache in my armpit, and across to my shoulder at the back and under my arm on the left side next to my breast. Also my arm gets numb when I move it about a lot, and during the night.

Is this all normal or cause for concern? Anyone else had the same trouble?

You got a big problem, your girlfriend had the implant and you are getting pains next to your breast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hiya i have had one but not had any probs with mine.. I would see my Dr just to make sure :o) Hope she gets on ok, have had mine 5 months and it's ok ,did a lot of research about it ,read all the "horror stories" on the net bout weight gain ,moods etc but i'm ok for now ..time will tell ................:o)
