Supermarket snobbery

I normally go to Sainsburys each week, but decided to do Asda for a change today without appearing overly snobby it felt like doing my shop with the audience of the Jeremy Kyle show. Perhaps it was just the store location?

Are there any supermarkets you wouldnt be seen dead in?
I for one would rather starve than go into Lidl's for anything.

i like Sainsburys the best or tesco ..netto omg full of nutters ...farm foods shop is not bad but hard to park near so dont bother really .

a mate of mine used to work in a peanut factory - they would have various different bags from various companies - and only one filling spout -
he said they would fill the 'no frills', 29p bags, to be sent to aldi etc, then fill the bags stating gourmet or whatever from the same pile to go to fancy posh shops....

No idea at all! I hate shopping.

I was forced to do the shopping once at Tesco so I bought all the Tesco saver food deliberately knowing I'd never be sent again!

Problem was I had to eat it all. Some things were okay, others.... Nasty!! yuck!

To Joko yes you could be right .Years ago I had a job packing ladies tights had one lot half went into marks and spencers boxes and rest went into market boxes selling at �5 at Mand S and �1 50 on the markets.

Just speed read this lot but no one has mentioned that shoppers in Asda are most definitely fatter!! And scruffier. I'm no lightweight and sometimes I cant be bothered to change out of my housework jeans and I feel right at home there.

Also noticed more pensioners there too, many of whom dont have the choice of Sainsbury and Waitrose. My mum goes to Sainsbury for a treat, partly for food quality but because it lacks the army of screaming kids.

shadowman im not sure if youre reading my post correctly or not but you seem to be missing what im saying, two legs from the same sheep, cut by the same butcher packed by the same packer, two different labels, are sent to two seperate store one to m& s and one to morrisins, so please tell me why the huge difference in price???

your argunment about bentleys and seats are rubbish, a car is a man made item and can have 10 grands worth of extras on it, making the difference between the two but a sheep is natural thing and doesnt have the luxury of added extras
