first off i have been asked to ask this question i just want to know this for someone else!!!!

Do people with freckles have ginger in them??? (i cant believe i'm asking this!) and therefore does that mean the are more likely to have ginger kids?

i know this is ironic but no silly answers please- and yes i am laughing myslef as i write this!

I have lots of freckles and my natural hair colour is light strawberry blonde; y eyebrows and eyelashes are light ash blonde; but my *ahem* 'nethers' are more strawberry blonde too. An ex of mine once called them ginger and I nearly killed him. Hahahaha!

I guess he just needs to know. I dont think anyone can tell what colour hair their children have, some white couples even have black children!!

both my parents were redheads (maybe its a welsh thing?) but i'm a natural blonde. which explains a lot...

|I have black hair and a few freckles, zero ginger but a ginger son. However he has olivey skin and no freckles. I know its rare for a red head to have no freckles but I dont think they bare any relevance to how likely it is your children will be ginger.

Ginger people are more prone to freckling because as a rule they are fairer skinned.

I have a ginger beard and freckles on my nose when it's summery but I have dark brown hair. You get gingers wihtout freckles though as GS rightly informed you.
